About The Artist

The Set List

Colorado band 3OH!3 may be the busiest guys in music. Not only do Sean Foreman and Nat Motte write their own electro “hop” hits, but they’ve also penned hits for other artists. Other 3OH!3 side projects? A few projects include their Ford model stint, comic books, charity marathons, and even studying (Shaun is continuing his deferral from medical school at the University of Colorado). And they've got an excellent new album out called 'Streets Of Gold.' Check out our exclusive performance and interview with 3OH!3 - and go pick up a copy of ‘Streets Of Gold’ online and in Walmart stores nationwide!

-The Crew at Walmart Soundcheck

On Streets Of Gold:
Sean: “’I think it goes into different worlds that we haven’t really ventured into, like some electronic, really kind of harder electronic hitting stuff…”

On Their Live Shows:
Nat: “It’s important for us to have a lot of exchange between the crowd. The crowd going crazy, having fun, jumping up and down, that feeds us to do even more. It’s this chaotic thing that spins up and goes outta control each night. You can go and hear a record on some big speakers anywhere. If you go to a concert and you hear things a little bit differently and you hear things remixed a little bit and little different variances on the sound and the song…”
Sean: “You’re messed up in just the right way!”

On Their First Meeting:
Nat: “We’re from Boulder, Colorado. We met when I was a sophomore at the University of Colorado. I think he was a freshman, and we were in a physics class together.”
Sean: “We had a desk next to each other and both of our papers fell on the floor... and we went to grab it and our hands touched, and we were like…”What’s your name?”
Nat: “That’s not how it happened at all.”

On Katy Perry:
Sean: “We were on Warped Tour with her; traveled in parking lots across the U.S., playing shows with her on the same stage. We became good friends with her, and she was nice enough to take us on tour with her in Europe. It’s really cool, it’s really how I want to work with people. It’s not anything forced; it’s not for business sake, it’s not just people telling us we should work with someone because it makes sense.”

On 3OH!3 Fans:
Nat: “We’re pretty excited about having such a vehement fan base. We’re doing what we love. Thanks to our fans everyday!”

Starstrukk
The band gets the party started with a familiar funk: the second single from their last album, ‘Want.’ ‘Starstrukk’ is classic 3OH!3 with a beat that brings the L.A. audience to their feet. It’s also a romance-challenged rocker that has the boys proclaiming: “L.O.V.E is just another word I never learned to pronounce…”

My First Kiss
The first single from ‘Streets Of Gold’ is a bona fide hit, but the band’s collaboration with pop princess Ke$ha didn’t actually get off to a smooth start. Explains Sean: “We didn’t get off on the same foot, let alone in the same area. It was kinda bad, but she hopped on the track and eventually we clicked and started to hang out. We’ve kept that friendship. She’s been awesome. When she’s around we hang out with her. She’s a good friend... and I think it shows in the song…”

Double Vision
Time for another cut from the band’s latest, ‘Streets Of Gold,’ and ‘Double Vision' is a track that hardcore 3OH!3 fans may have caught before. (The band previewed a number of new tracks on their Too Fast For Love tour.) Sings Nat: “I’m thinking maybe I can’t have relationships / ‘Cause lately they’re not making any sense…”

Colorado Sunrise
Flanked by two weird looking wolves situated on each side of the stage, Sean introduces a song from the band’s last album, ‘Want,' asking the crowd: “Are you guys afraid to dance in L.A? Because in Colorado we let the wolf spirit take us away!” 'Colorado Sunrise' isn't just 3OH!3 at their most playful and poignant, it's a set highlight.

Don’t Dance
Dressed in matching shirts 3OH!3 perform ‘Don’t Dance,’ a spirited anthem from the band’s self-titled debut. Sings Sean: “We’ve got the music that you can’t stand still to / And even if you don’t dance / I’ve gotta get you out and take this chance…”

Don’t Trust Me
Closing their set with ‘Don’t Trust Me,’ 3OH!3 earns respect from our L.A. audience. The band’s breakout hit – from their second album ‘Want’ – is clearly the crowd’s favorite. Singing along with the crowd, Sean and Nat deliver the song’s unforgettable lyrics: “She’s an actress but she ain’t got no need / She’s got money from her parents in a trust fund back east…”
