About the Show
About the Show: With a long career under his belt, A.B Quintanilla is one of Latin music's most renowned songwriters/musicians/producers, and he's worked with a who's who list of Latin and American artists. After a three-year hiatus, this Latin Grammy winner is back with a new album titled "La Vida De un Genio" – which he dedicates to his father. This new production is a concept album in which Quintanilla called on some of his famous friends to collaborate, everyone from Gilberto Santa Rosa to Jorge Celedón and José Feliciano, to name a few. The first single "Hipnótika," which features DJ Kane and Julio Voltio, is sure to give Quintanilla another chart topper. Dedicating the album to his dad:

"I'd have to say this album is cumbia with swag. If anyone out there understands the word swag, it's just a really, really relaxed cumbia. It's got punch, power but it's relaxed…"

On working with big artists:
"I've worked with a lot of famous Latin artists… In this one, I have to say the one person I had a strong connection with was Marciano from Los Enanitos Verdes… He's a wonderful human being…that's really accomplished a lot. He's the Mick Jagger of the Latin world…"

"Thank you for waiting. I'm sorry it took so long; it was out of my control… I want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for sticking with me. I really, really hope you guys enjoy this album because I made it with all my love for you guys."
