The Set List
Quien
Opening their set with a brand new tune from their latest album, ‘Contigo Para Siempre,’ Conjunto Atardecer treat fans to their unique style of Duranguense. ‘Quien’ is an upbeat love song - and a gentle reminder to the one you love. Asks the singer: “Who makes you dream? And who lets you fly across the sky?”
El Celular (El Presumido)
Saxophones swirl, tubas play, and Conjunto Atardecer are all warmed up. ‘El Celular’ is another new song from the band’s latest disc, ‘Contigo Para Siempre,' and a sure-fire crowd pleaser. Clad in cowboy hats, the guys from Durango know how to entertain - Texan Fair-style!
Encontre
The new single from 'Contigo Para Siempre' is a romantic affair that showcases the band's harmonies. It also calls out a mysterious woman. Sings the band: "I always dreamed of finding a love... I always dreamed of a woman like you."
Mi Eterno Amor Secreto
Time for another crowd pleaser; ‘Mi Eterno Amor Secreto’ is a signature Conjunto Atardecer tune tinged in romance. But beneath the boy-meets-girl tale, there’s bitterness and regret. Cautions the heartbroken: “Best if we take separate paths. This goodbye is for the best.”
Olvidala
Lost love is a recurring theme in Conjunto Atardecer’s lyrics, and ‘Olvidala’ is another tune that travels to difficult love territory, specifically the themes of rejection and betrayal. Sings Conjunto: “I didn’t know that my world would end without her…”
Antes De Que Te Vayas
The band’s final tune is also one of their biggest hits. The number one tune ‘Antes De Que Te Vayas’ chronicles the final chapter of a relationship, and it's a fitting close to a heartfelt set. Sings Conjunto: “I won’t waste your time… Take care of yourself in this new path.”
