Horacio Palencia is currently one of the most sought-after songwriters. His work has been sung by some of the greats in Regional Mexican music like La Arrolladora Banda El Limón, Banda El Recodo, Los Huracanes Del Norte, Banda Pequeños Musical, Lupillo Rivera, El Trono De México, K-Paz De La Sierra, Fidel Rueda, Banda MS and El Coyote y Su Banda Tierra Santa. The album's title
I chose that title at a time when I was only flirting with the idea of singing my own songs, because at the beginning I didn't want to be an artist…"
The songs
"Most of my songs are based on true life stories, which we've all experienced. We all have our love stories and heartbreaks. This album includes songs like that, romantic tunes. In fact, the public calls me the 'the romantic singer-songwriter'…"
Inspiration
"When I was writing the songs, I just wrote what came to me at the time, what I was feeling... We ended up with a very diverse album… with different rhythms…"

"The first single is 'Qué Pensabas' and it's a bit of a sad story. It's like when you're in a relationship, and you go through a break up and heartbreak, which I think we've all experienced.
The decision to sing
I had the idea of recording this album last year. I began to write the songs and setting them aside, because even though I'm now singing, I still do want to continue to write songs for other artists…"
