About the Show
Kany García is the owner of an extraordinary voice, and an undeniable talent. The Puerto Rican singer-songwriter's professional career is barely five years old, yet in that short time she's won the love and respect of the public, a public that is there for her 100%. This young artist is not only a music star, but she also gives her time to work on social issues and charities that call on her. Professionally, she's won several Latin Grammy and Latin Billboard Awards. Her new album is titled "Kany García," and includes special collaborations with Franco de Vita, Jimmy Zambrano, Jorge Celedón and Antonio Carmona. With the first single "Que Te Vaya Mal" already hot, this Puerto Rican singer-songwriter has another hit on her hands!

"This is the most complete record of my career. It's an album with a very ample repertoire… musically, this album represents who I am. I think that's why I called it 'Kany García'…"

Recording in Colombia:
"When I recorded this album, we decided to do it in Colombia because it was going to be an interactive process. We recorded it at a University, and we had the opportunity to have students there to learn about the entire recording process…"
Collaborations:
"The collaborations [with other artists] were really special to me… They were on songs that have a lot of personal meaning, songs that were mine y and that mean something to a lot of people…"
What's new:
"In this album you'll be able to hear new and different fusions, which the previous album didn't have… You'll find ballads and lots of touches of Latin American sounds. You'll hear a lot of folklore from Colombia and Puerto Rico…"
