How the Group Started
“Someone recorded us playing our instruments and singing and put it on the Internet. Soon radio stations were playing this, everyone would ask ‘who are the Pikadientes? No one knew, because the group didn’t exist. We were just friends having a good time.
On the Name Los Pikadientes de Caborca
"The name Los Pikadientes comes from a shout out we gave during our first single 'La Cumbia del Rio'. We said 'Hey this goes out to Los Pikadientes'. Los Pikadientes is a name we referred to each other. People didn't know what the group was called, since the song called out Los Pikadientes, they would then request 'that song from the Pikadientes' and the name stuck".
Describing the Music of Los Pikadientes de Caborca
“To describe the music of Los Pikadientes, I would decribe it as Funny, Energetic, Fiesta, Shaken-up”.
On the New Album
“On the previous album we focused on cumbias, we had success with la cumbia del río and la machaca, we wanted to offer our audience something different. We have more ballands and romantic songs this time around”.
About the Music of Los Pikadientes de Caborca
“Our music is simply for people to drink and have a good time”.
