On Her Sound:
“The difference between Amante de lo ajeno, my second album, and my first album as a solo artist, is that the first is all new songs and this second album is like a homage to those diva pop stars of the 80s…it was fun to recreate huge hits of the 80s. To record the album in Italy with Loris Ceroni was wonderful.”
On Writing Songs:
“My inspiration was the 80s…a decade with a huge personality… Imagine being in Italy during winter, eating pasta and drinking wine while recording. Loris is such a huge talent…it’s wonderful…I can do it all over again.”
On Her Favorite Song:
“I think the song I like the most in Amante de lo ajeno is No soy una señora because that was a song I used to hear in my huge Walkman in 1985…and because of the power of the music…it just kept me in a very good mood.”
On Success:
“To bring this album here to the States is wonderful…because of the difficulty of being an independent artist…last album we were with a label company…right now being independent it tastes so good being the owner of the restaurant, owner of the recipes…the dishes are so delicious… is it is just being here with you is so nice…”
On Fan Love:
“The message I want to give to the fans is…you have to be happy, say I love as many times as possible…you don’t now what is going to happen tomorrow…hug…kiss…be happy…that’s the first thing…say I love you…that is the most important thing.”
