About the Show
Meet Sie7e, a young singer, songwriter, musician, arranger and producer. Born in Puerto Rico, this talented artist can't be classified by one particular genre, because he masterfully fuses rhythms like batucada, samba, rock, reggae, blues, salsa and flamenco, as well as Puerto Rican bomba, in his music. And his lyrics always strike a positive note, while touching on love, irony and humor. His most recent album "Mucha Cosa Buena" – the first with a multinational label – has just earned him a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist. His single "Tengo Tu Love (I Got Your Love" is a Spanglish feel-good song that has topped the charts not only in the U.S. but also in Central America, in Argentina, Chile and Mexico.

Don't miss Sie7e's amazing live performance, and interview. Experience his music, his sound, his charismatic personality and much more!

On his name:
"The idea of my stage name, Sie7e, came from my birthday. I was born in July 1977. When I was taking my music to people in the industry, they didn't think my real name was very interesting…And they liked Sie7e…"

On the album:
"'Mucha Cosa Buena' is all about my sound, and what I'm trying to say. It's my third album, and it has a great concept and attitude…"

Success:
"I wasn't really expecting it. You work so hard for it, but you really never expect it, because the chances of winning are so slim… Everything happens so fast, that it takes time to emotionally understand all this…I'm just taking it in the best I can, and I'm grateful…"

The singles:
"'Tengo Tu Love' opened all the doors… In Puerto Rico we also released 'I'm Sorry,' which is kind of a public apology to my wife…because I'm really absentminded, and I give her a lot of headaches… Now we're working 'Te Regalo una Promesa.'"

The fans:
"They're the ones that give meaning to what I'm doing, because I'm not doing music for selfish reasons. I'm not making music for me; I'm making music for them. And when people receive it, like it and vibe with it, then it all makes sense…"

His music style:
"I mix a lot of rhythms, so I'm not thinking of a specific genre. I throw in there a little bit of reggae, a bit of samba, batucada, salsa, Puerto Rican bomba, all kinds of stuff… I hope that even if you don't listen to what I'm saying, when you hear the music, it makes you feel better…"

The Set List
Mucha Cosa Buena
Also the name of the album, "Mucha Cosa Buena" is a song that talks of the many good things life has to offer, despite the challenge that may come our way, and how important it is to always see the silver lining.

Ven Ven Ven
"Forget about the world, and come, come, come dance with me," says this easy going and fun song about love.

Don't Worry Be Happy
Keeping up with the positive message songs, this is a remake in Spanish of the classic tune we all know, and have sung at one time or another.

I'm Sorry
Sie7e confesses he wrote this song for his wife to apologize for this absent mindedness. I guess we've all been there. "How many times will I say I'm sorry my love, but I love you."

Te Regalo una Promesa
When you have nothing to offer, the only gift you can give is a promise that things will get better soon. "I don't know how to tell you my love, that I have nothing… with these empty hands, I give you this promise."

Tengo Tu Love
His biggest international hit to date, the song talks about how it's not important to have all the fancy and expensive things others have, if you have the love of the person you're in love with.
