“It has a different substance; it has a different meaning. That’s the magic of the Primera Fila! I always wanted to make a live album but I never had people around me who supported that dream. Luckily I met all these visionaries and we made it happen. It’s one of those moments where everything worked perfectly. It’s magical. Everybody put their heart into this project!”
On Duets:
“We have some duets on the new album. There's one with the legendary Joan Sebastian, which is one of my dreams come true. He gave me this song: 'Con La Duda' or ‘With A Doubt.’ On top of that – he jumped onstage and sang it with me! That was magical and spectacular; It’s a fun and uplifting song.”
On Her Favorite Song:
“Definitely one named ‘Como’ or ‘How.’ It’s about how to go back to what you were before something happened in your life. How do you find your way back to the person you lost along the way? It’s very profound and strong. People cry… and I cry!”
On The Power Of Writing:
“Writing is a way of freedom. All your concerns, stories, ideas. Put them on paper with music! It’s so powerful. Even if you don’t understand any word in Spanish, just feel it…”
On Feeling The Front Row:
“Front row is exactly how I want everyone to feel. In front of me, breathing the same air, looking into my eyes… and having that magical moment. Being that close… that there’s really nothing to hide. That’s why I wanted to name it ‘Front Row,’ and invite everybody to feel that way.”
On The Flip Side Of Fame:
“There’s nothing behind being famous. Fame is just an illusion. It’s just like nothing. What do you want to be? What do you want to do? I want to be a musician! I want to write songs! That is being something. Being famous is nothing.”
On Her Message:
“Live your life now. Enjoy the present. That’s why it’s called present. Open it. Eat it. Smell it. Put it on. Enjoy your life and find happiness. Everything else is just an illusion. Find happiness. That’s the most important thing.”
