Soundcheck is an original performance series created by the Wal-Mart Music team, giving you the opportunity to go behind the scenes and get an in-studio look at some of your favorite artists. Soundcheck plays right here on Walmart.com, or, for the full high definition experience, visit any Walmart store and head to the Electronics department to watch it on the Walmart TV Network.
We'll be adding new performances on a regular basis throughout the year, so please check back regularly at Walmart.com/soundcheck for more information.
We'll have artists from all genres; some old, some new, some huge, some more emerging - but all will be presented in the same intimate studio environment. So be on the lookout!

Once the performances launch, you can play it anytime you want, 24 hours a day. We'll keep all artists up on the site under "The Performances" tab.

“There’s a lotta good surprises (in this new show). We have to make it visually enticing to come see the show; it’s another sense that’s important for a show.”
On Album Artwork:
“At an art fair I saw the work of (Chinese artist) Lou Bolin who paints himself into the background of pictures. He came to America and we had the opportunity to create a mural for the album artwork. He physically painted us into background and then they take a photograph of it.”
On Album Augmented Reality:
“We took this amazing art and created an augmented reality in which we walk out of the paint.”
On Going Nonstop:
“The (last) tour concluded after 18 ½ months & 52 countries. I told the guys, ‘I’ll see you in a couple years’. A month later I started writing a record. When the flow comes you just start going with it.”
• Bon Jovi has performed in more than 50 countries for over 35 million fans.
• Front man Jason Wade wrote songs in his room with no intention of being a musician. After playing a few of his songs for friends, they convinced him to play in coffee shops.
• The augmented reality incorporated with the album cover was inspired by a Halloween catalog Jon’s son, Romeo, had brought home.

This pop-metal anthem was the first single from Bon Jovi’s third record, ‘Slippery When Wet’, and helped to propel the album to number one.

This catchy guitar laden tune echoes the feeling of remorse singing, ‘No use in trying to save me/ There’s devils in heaven/ There’s angels in hell/ So blow me one last kiss/ Wish me well.’
Because We Can
‘Because We Can’ is the Bon Jovi’s first single from their latest record, ‘What About Now’. It’s unforgettable lyrics are sure to make it worthy of arena sing-a-longs.
It’s My Life
The memorable single ‘It’s My Life’ stands proof that Bon Jovi could still resonate with a younger audience. The single from the album ‘Crush’ is arguably their most popular single after the hair-metal hits of the 80’s.
What About Now
This pop influenced tune is also the title of Bon Jovi’s twelfth album—filled with optimistic lyrics like, ‘For the faithful, the believer/ For the faceless and the teacher/ Stand up and be proud/ What about now?’
Amen
The song ‘Amen’ is an acoustic ballad from the latest album, ‘What About Now’ highlighting Jon’s expansive vocal range and heartfelt emotion.
Army of One
Army of One’ comes from the 2013 record and offers up hopeful, inspiring lyrics to keep pushing upward and onward: ‘Never forget where you’re from/ Never give up/ you’re an army of one.’
