On The New Album:
"What I am most excited about with this new album is that it's my first album. Ever since I was seven years old, I have always wanted to sing and this is what I worked for. The time has finally come; it took me a long time to get here and I'm finally ready to see what I worked for my whole life – come to life!”
On Learning Self Esteem:
"I would have to give that credit to my big sister Julia who is not here. She's very confident and there's not much you can tell her! Although, being confident doesn't mean not taking input and constructive criticism or what others have to say – but I would still give that credit to my big sister Julia."
On Hollywood "Beauty":
“I don’t necessarily feel like Hollywood’s standards of beauty are my standards of beauty. I have my own. I just try to live up to my own expectations and standards of beauty and not so much of others.”
On Inspirations:
“Acting is new to me so I’m still trying to figure out who my inspirations are. At the moment I look up to Forrest Whittaker, Queen Latifah and I consider Oprah an actress. I don’t know if many do, but… Oprah!”
On Five Years From Now:
“I want to still be acting and singing and doing other things that I like. Maybe I’ll continue to learn to play the piano and try some photography as well. Maybe I’ll become a photographer! Also, I want to write music so I can add songwriter to my credits.”

All Dressed In Love
Kicking off with the theme song from this summer's blockbuster, 'Sex And The City: The Movie," Jennifer gets our audience grooving with a song that showcases her famous power pipes. Written by Cee-Lo, Matt Kahane (AKA MC Jack Splash) and Salaam Remi, ‘All Dressed In Love’ is the ultimate survival anthem. Sings Jennifer in this throwback to Motown soul: "I hope your shoes are made for walking 'cuz I found love…"
If This Isn't Love
"This is one of my favorite songs!" says Jennifer at the intro of this new tune, from the self-titled album. Jennifer's self-titled debut teams the superstar up with a number of talented producers, including Ne-Yo, Timbaland, Missy Elliot and T-Pain. Sings Jennifer on this tune about true love: “If this isn’t love, then tell me what is. ‘Cuz I could be dreaming and just plain crazy…”
Giving Myself Over To You
This heartfelt new song, written by Robin Thicke, may be a beautifully-written tune about relinquishing to a relationship but it's also a tale of self-acceptance. It's also Jennifer's favorite song from the new record. Sings Jennifer in one of today’s highlight performances: "Finally I can be me. I can just let my love spill over. I can cry. I don't have to lie. I can finally let someone all the way inside…"
Spotlight
Closing the set with the first single from her new disc, 'Spotlight' (written by Ne-Yo and Stargate) is already a massive radio hit and features a clever dialogue about the dynamics of an uneven, star-powered relationship. Sings Jennifer: "I don't like living under your spotlight. Maybe if you treat me right then you won't have to worry…" Before the song's climactic finale, Jennifer delivers her audience of young girls a powerful speech: "Encourage yourself. You are first! Don't ever forget that!"
