-The Crew at Walmart Soundcheck

On Change:
"I haven't changed too much. I think that people who don't know me already will really get to know me as an artist.. more than ever before. I really got to know myself making this record. I think it'll translate to the fans."

On Performing:
"My favorite part [on stage] is when fans have their fists in the air and are singing the lyrics to songs that I wrote. That's a great feeling!"

On Working With The Boyfriend:
"I wrote with different writers on this album, not on purpose, it just kind of happened that way. My boyfriend Blake Shelton [and I] wrote three songs together on this record. It's the first time we've collaborated and actually recorded something. It was really cool to share that!"

On Advice To Young Musicians:
"If you go into [the business] knowing exactly who you are and who you are musically, and you put your foot down and say: "I'm going to stay this way," you won’t lose yourself along the way. Surround yourself with good people.. that's a huge part of this. People who uplift you and believe in you."

• She's a Texan. Miranda was born and raised in Lindale, a small town outside Dallas. Her parents are private investigators.

• She's proud to be a country girl! Miranda has a farm with pigs, donkeys, and a miniature horse. Her hobbies include fishing, riding four-wheelers, and hunting.

• She's achieved a lot at a young age. Miranda kick-started her career on a popular television talent show and finished in third place. The exposure led to a recording contract and her debut album, 'Kerosene.'

• Her new album, 'Revolution' hits stores September 29. Pick up a copy online and in Walmart stores nationwide.
Famous In A Small Town
Miranda begins her set with a country classic from her second album, 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.' It's the perfect introduction from a singer who somehow manages to capture the essence of rural America. Miranda has said that 'Famous' reflects her experience growing up in Lindale, Texas: "Whether you’re late for church or you’re stuck in jail.. Hey, word's gonna get around. Everybody dies famous in a small town."

Gun Powder And Lead
"I'm gonna show him what a little girl's made of," sings Miranda in this blazing tale of struggle and survival. Although the song has been compared to The Dixie Chicks' classic tune, 'Goodbye Earl,' Miranda has said that the song actually derives from a childhood experience when her family sheltered two victims of domestic abuse.

Dead Flowers

The first single from 'Revolution' is perhaps Miranda's most sophisticated offering to date. Likening an expired relationship to a vase of dead flowers, Miranda shows off exquisite vocals and delivers a set highlight. Sings the artist: "He ain't feeling anything. My love, my hurt, or the sting of this rain."

Only Prettier
Miranda unleashes her lighthearted side in this self-deprecating song to a friend who is politer and.. prettier. Perhaps it's a political metaphor, but the words seem slightly awkward coming from the mouth of an attractive woman. Sings Miranda: "You got your friends just like I got mine. You're just like me.. only prettier."

Heart Like Mine
Like Gretchen Wilson, Miranda Lambert isn't exactly known for her girl next door image. Ending her set with this sure-to-be-classic Lambert anthem from the brand new album, 'Revolution,' Miranda shows us why she's one of country's most original stars.

White Liar
Written by Miranda Lambert and Natalie Hemby, 'White Liar' is a boot-stomping, bluesy tribute to cheatin' in a small town. Strong-willed and passionate, Miranda Lambert is the kind of girlfriend you don't mess with. Warns the singer: "You better be careful what you do.. I wouldn't wanna be in your shoes."
