Soundcheck is an original performance series created by the Wal-Mart Music team, giving you the opportunity to go behind the scenes and get an in-studio look at some of your favorite artists. Soundcheck plays right here on Walmart.com, or, for the full high definition experience, visit any Walmart store and head to the Electronics department to watch it on the Walmart TV Network.
We'll be adding new performances on a regular basis throughout the year, so please check back regularly at Walmart.com/soundcheck for more information.
We'll have artists from all genres; some old, some new, some huge, some more emerging - but all will be presented in the same intimate studio environment. So be on the lookout!

Once the performances launch, you can play it anytime you want, 24 hours a day. We'll keep all artists up on the site under "The Performances" tab.

On Doll Domination:
Make no mistake. PCD is serious about success. Explains Nicole: "We're so blessed and fortunate to have sold, I believe, 7 or 8 million albums around the world but I believe that this album is just as strong, if not stronger than the last album. The title ('Doll Domination') explains itself for the inspiration behind the music. We put our best foot forward on every song that we sought out or wrote to create this album. We have a lot of songs on the album that the old PCD fans are gonna love, but we also have some new songs that will maybe get new PCD songs. We got to work with old producers and old friends - like Cee-Lo Green who did 'Don't Cha' with us and Sean Garrett - but we're really excited about the new producers like Timbaland, who helped us to executive produce this album - and Rodney Jerkins - as well as some new, up-and-coming producers who are really fresh on the scene."
On Embracing Yourself:
The Pussycat Dolls' message is a simple one: Love Yourself. Explains Nicole: "We encourage other females and people all around the world to be really strong. Strong from within. Have a confidence from within so that you can truly shine your own individual light." Adds Kimberly: "Embrace your differences. We're a melting pot of so many different races and ethnicities. It's about letting go of all the stigmas that everybody tells you to be and just be you! Because you is actually good enough."
On Being Careful What You Wish For:
The Dolls' new song, 'When I Grow Up' features some cautionary lyrics. Explains Kimberly: "We all had a dream when we were kids to be rock stars and I think that a lot of our fans out there have the same dream. We just want them to relate to us and know that we go through the same things. That's what we dreamed and we just followed our passions and our dreams and it led us to this group - and being The Pussycat Dolls. But at the same time: Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it. It's not always as glamorous as it seems but we always have fun with it and we love each other and that's why we enjoy doing what we do..."
- The Pussycat Dolls are: Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt
- They originally set out to become a "dance troupe" before changing their mind. The Pussycat Dolls were officially formed in 2003.
- They have a star-studded history. Carmen Electra was an original member of the dance troupe and other "special guests" have included Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Aniston, Eva Longoria, Denise Richards, Gwen Stefani and Audrina Partridge.
- They're a top selling brand. Last year, Vegas casino Caesars Palace opened the "Pussycat Dolls Casino" where waitresses and gaming staff dress in Doll-style outfits.
- The Pussycat Dolls were featured in the movie, 'Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle' in a burlesque scene choreographed by Dita Von Teese
It's time for a taste of the new album, 'Doll Domination.' 'I Hate This Part Right Here' is a welcome departure for the Dolls; produced by Timbaland and Danja, the song travels to power ballad territory. 'I Hate This Part Right Here' also showcases the ladies' sensitive side - and it's a painful reminder of how hard it is to break up. Sings Nicole: "I just can't take your tears. I hate this part right here..."
Take Over The World
"We'll be buying up the bar, take over the club... I got what you want so give it up..." So sing PCD in this new track, an upbeat anthem to power partying. Sharing vocal duties with Nicole Scherzinger is Melody Thornton, the Pussycat Dolls' second most prominent vocalist. 'Take Over The World' isn't pretending to change the world; it's a PCD pop anthem - and the perfect song to blast before a night on the town.
When I Grow Up
Closing our set with the lead single from 'Doll Domination,' PCD leave us wanting more. This song, already a hit over the world, features some of the girls' most ambitious choreography and an intelligent lyric that questions the rewards of fame. Sings Nicole: "I ain't complaining. We all wanna be famous. So go ahead and say what you wanna say. You know what it's like to be nameless."
Buttons
Kicking off with the fourth single from their debut album, the dolls deliver a faithful rendition of 'Buttons' - one of PCDs' most popular hits. Lead singer Nicole Scherzinger (who also co-wrote the song) showcases her power pipes - and moves in this tune about an empowered woman's request: "What I want to do is spring this on you... Back up all of the things that I told you..."
Don't Cha
"This song is for all our ladies - the official PCD anthem!" cries Nicole - as the girls launch into a remixed dance version of the band's signature tune. 'Don't Cha,' the Pussycat Dolls' second single from their debut album, is an infectious slice of girl power written by Cee-Lo and Sir Mix-A-Lot. Tease the ladies in their most popular lyrics to date: "Don't cha wish your girlfriend was raw like me? Don't cha wish your girlfriend was fun like me?"
