On The Best They've Got To Give:
Jay: “We all feel like it’s the best music we’ve ever made. We took our time with it and that wasn’t typical for us. We cut as we found songs. The inspiration behind this record was definitely the music.”
Joe: “I think that we’ve all grown a lot as singers, musicians, songwriters and producers. Everybody’s gotten better. We’re at a place where this is the best piece of product we’ve made so far.”
On Fans Of The Flatts:
Gary: “The Rascal Flatts fan? (Aged) from three to 103.”
Joe: “We always say 'cradle to the grave.'"
Gary: “We do have crazy fans. We do meet-and-greets every single night. We feel like it’s important to shake the hands of the people who see the shows and buy the tickets and albums.”
On The Fourth Member:
Jay: “(Co-producer) Dan Huff is one of these people that’s just nothing short of a genius. He’s really gifted musically and also has the patience to work with a band, because that can be very trying. He’s a great coach, and he puts all the pieces in the right place. I can’t imagine doing a record without him... I think he’s like the fourth member and has become an integral part of our team.”
Gary: “He wasn’t just a producer. He’s a true player.”
Joe: “He saw what we did live, which is very important to us. He had a brilliant idea to capture that on the album.”

Love Who You Love
Beginning their Soundcheck set with their latest hit, ‘Love Who You Love,’ Rascal Flatts lead on a high note. It’s also a brave one. The band has spoken openly about the song’s message, a plea of tolerance to love whomever you choose. It’s also drawn comparisons to Garth Brook’s 1992 hit, ‘We Shall Be Free.’ Sing the boys: “Love who you love… with all that you have. Don’t waste the time. It flies so fast.”
Here Comes Goodbye
Written by Chris Sligh and Clint Lagerbergh, ‘Here Comes Goodbye’ is the debut single from ‘Unstoppable,’ and it's a classic country tearjerker. Whether it’s the tragic tale of a relationship's demise or a dying man’s goodbye, the message is inevitably left to the listener. Sings Gary: “Here comes the last time. Here comes the start of every sleepless night.”
Every Day
From their 2007 album, ‘Still Feels Good,’ ‘Every Day’ reflects the Flatts’ talent for writing message songs that tell great stories. The story behind 'Every Day' is the healing power of a relationship that just keeps getting better. Accompanying a graceful piano intro, Gary sings with gratitude about a love that saves his life: “You could have bowed out gracefully… but you didn’t.”
Bob That Head
While Rascal Flatts have redefined the sound of traditional country music, the band always returns to their roots. ‘Bob That Head’ is an unforgettable, foot-tapping testament to Friday night fun. It’s also the name of the band’s latest high-grossing tour. Sings Gary: “Now he’s cruisin’… don’t want to lose it!"
Still Feels Good
From the 2007 Rascal Flatts album of the same name, ‘Still Feels Good’ is a catchy, crossover pop-country tune about keeping it fresh. Regarded as a fan favorite, ‘Still Feels Good’ sums up the audience response to Rascal Flatts. Ten years into their career, the band sounds just as great as they did starting out. Sings Gary: “That old familiar song blaring from my car… we know every note, every word by heart.”
