About the Show
• He’s just 13 years old. His cover of Lady Gaga’s ‘Paparazzi’ at a sixth-grade music festival became a phenomenon on YouTube. The performance has since scored over 40 million views.
• He began playing piano when he was just seven years old. Says Greyson: “I would take washable markers on our old piano so I knew which keys I was playing!”
• He knew fame was around the corner. Of his 2010 YouTube performance, Greyson says: “All these girls from the people in the audience came up and they’re like, ‘Can we have your autograph?!” I was really happy but I was like, ‘how do I sign my name?! I want it to look good because I’m going to be famous one day!’ A month later, it happened.”
• His debut album is called ‘Hold On ‘Til The Night.’ Explains Greyson: “It’s a pop rock album. I wrote more than half the songs on this record. I was really endless with what I could write about!”
