About the Show
• He’s an accomplished singer/songwriter. Before going solo Jerrod wrote music for some of country’s biggest acts: Garth Brooks, Julie Roberts, and Blake Shelton.
• He’s a midwesterner. Jerrod grew up in Liberal, a small town in west Kansas. In 2000, he moved to Nashville to pursue his longtime dream.
• He wants you to check out country music. Explains Jerrod: “I think there’s something unique that I can contribute to the format. If I can make somebody laugh, or get someone who’s never listened to country music to come over and check it out, then I’ve accomplished my goal.”

Explains Jerrod: “It’s about the idea that everybody is going to judge me and my band for making this album. Whenever you attempt to do anything different or unique, people are going to criticize it. But that’s okay. I’ve been made fun of my whole life. Why stop now?”
