• Lady Gaga is a native New Yorker. The Pisces was born on March 20th in Yonkers and grew up in Manhattan, New York.

Her second single, 'Poker Face' also from 'The Fame' has superseded her first, topping the charts at number one in over ten countries.

• She's always been an entertainer. Gaga's flair for entertainment has made its evolution from singing on plastic tape recorders as a child, to "shock art" performances in Manhattan's Lower East Side, to being a Grammy-nominated pop artist.
• She's not just a singer but a songwriter as well. At four years old, she learned to play the piano, at 13 she wrote her first piano ballad and now, she has written for a slew of other artist including The Pussycat Dolls.
