About the Show
• She’s an Aussie. The 24 year-old singer/guitarist was raised in Adelaide, Australia.
• She began playing electric guitar at the tender age of 11. After seeing musician Carlos Santana live in concert, young Orianthi begged her father for an electric guitar.
• She played alongside Michael Jackson on his last tour. Following her buzz-worthy performance with Carrie Underwood at the 2009 Grammy Awards, Orianthi received a call from Michael Jackson. She can be seen in his recent tour documentary, ‘This Is It.’
• She’s played with a ton of famous people. Orianthi has shared the stage with many prolific musicians, including Steve Vai, ZZ Top, Prince and Carrie Underwood.
• On her first effort. Orianthi sings, writes and leads her own band. Pick up a copy online and in Walmart stores nationwide.
