Cheetahs Go To Bollywood
There's no denying an Eastern influence in The Cheetah Girls' new record. From the dancing to the sounds, a "Bollywood" sound permeates the soundtrack. Explains Kiely: "The inspiration is the movie. The moment you hear the music you're definitely going to have a great idea of what we do in India in our movie." Adds Sabrina: "I think that this movie is definitely more music-oriented. Plus, we love the hot dance breaks that are in almost every single one of the songs. I think the biggest difference to this soundtrack is that we each got to write and have our own song. It really helped bring our own style to the soundtrack, which we're really excited about."
Advice To Wannabe Cheetahs
How does one go about emulating a Cheetah career? Sabrina explains: "We've all started and been in the business for quite awhile now. I think that one of the biggest pieces of advice for anyone who wants to get into this is to perfect your craft and really make sure that you're in every single class you can take. Adrienne and I were even talking about taking classes recently over the summer. Continuously going for every opportunity you can - whether it's the local theatre or anything else. Just getting involved within the community and any chance you get to get out there - just go for it!"
Girl Power
Listen to any Cheetah Girls record and you'll walk away (or dance) with one message: Self empowerment. Explains Kiely: "The Cheetah Girls' message is to believe in yourself. It's Girl Power; it's one hundred percent supporting your girls and going for your dreams, no matter what." Adds Sabrina: "I think it's a huge responsibility that we really take seriously. To promote a positive self-image for young girls and to hopefully empower them to be comfortable in their own skin, be who they are, go for the dreams that they want, don't let anyone hold them back. That's definitely one of the messages of The Cheetah Girls and something that we take really seriously."

One World
Kicking off their set with a sound that could be best described as Euro-inspired dance meets Middle Eastern pop, The Cheetah Girls break out the the first single and title track from their new album, 'Cheetah Girls: One World.' Lyrically, 'One World' follows its universally-inspired chords: "Love always finds a way every single time. Once we learn to trust our hearts. Now we see who we are in a different light. We're not so far apart..."
Strut
The trio gives us a sampling of their signature youthful attitude with the second single from their much-loved movie soundtrack, 'The Cheetah Girls 2.' Written and produced by Jamie Houston, 'Strut' is also the girls' most successful single to date. In a chorus that recalls the 'girl power' spirit of bands like En Vogue, the ladies push a powerful vocal: "Strut like you mean it! Free your mind it, it's not enough to just dream it. When you feel it, it's your chance to shine."
Cheetah Love
Unity and sisterhood are central themes in The Cheetah Girls' music; their next song, 'Cheetah Love' is a fun and funky shout-out to staying true to yourself. Billed as the third single from 'One World,' 'Cheetah Love' could be the breakout hit that defines this talented group. In their own words: "My girls have always got my back. No matter what happens I can count on that. So put your hands up girls. We've only just begun..."
Break Out Of This Box
"I'm not perfect. Nobody is. I've got to break out of this box you're trying to keep me in." So sing The Cheetah Girls in this tender ballad about breaking away from dangerous perceptions. Though the song may be a telling truth about the often difficult journey of a teen star, 'Break Out Of This Box' is ultimately an empowering response to re-discovering yourself. Sing The Cheetahs: "I can't let this break me, I gotta give it my all. If I stand for nothing, then I fall."
Dance Me If You Can
"Dance Me If You Can," tease The Cheetahs in this non-stop call-out to conquering the dance floor. The second single from their latest party record, 'One World,' 'Dance Me If You Can' showcases The Cheetahs at their most playful and contagious. As a team of dancers surrounds the girls and an Eastern beat fills the room, the girls triple dare us: "Is that the best that you can do? You're gonna have to try much harder. Now's the time to make your move... Get ready, let's go!"
